| Subject: Medical Assessment to Passport request time??? |

Folks,
This is my timeline:
Aug 2007 -- my application was initiated to be processed. They asked me to give IELTS.
Sep 2007 -- gave my IELTS
Jan 2007 -- fils transferred to Detoit
Feb 2007 -- they have asked me to take my Medicals.
Purpose of this post is two-fold -- one, is to tell folks about the timeline that is going on currently for skilled worker category and if/when all documents are properly submitted.
Second, is, to ask folks as to how much time it takes for passport request to come from the Consulate, after Medicals have been submitted. Is the time gap around two-three months? Any inputs will be greatly appreciated.

time gap around 2-3 months is not so accurate. You will get PPR when your background check is over and even CIC does not know how long it will take to complete background check. So it is hard to answer your qestion.
For me I have been waiting for more than 6 months and still no PPR so you can never tell.
