Subject: Spousal Sponsorship Question |
|
|
|
Hello everybody ... Help me please. I have the following question:
In the form IMM1344, question 1: "If you are found ineligible to sponsor, indicate whether you want"
a. To withdraw your sponsorship (all processing fees less $75 will be repaid), or
b. To proceed with the application for permanent residence.
Should I select the option "a", or "b"???
If I select "b", are there any probability to win an appeal if I am ineligible to sponsor? Is it worth it?
Thanks in advance.

(in reply to: Spousal Sponsorship Question) This is your partner we are referring to! Income is not an issue so the likely hood of being refused as a sponsor is very low.
Ask yourself this
R U Osamin Bin Laden relative?
Have you been convicted of war crimes?
Any serious convictions or domestic violence issues?
Any person previously sponsored went on welfare?
Is CIC trying to take away your PR status for any reason?
Edu check off B
This is an issue for Parental sponsorship applications for those right at the LICO which you do not have to meet. If a sponsor dips below the LICO they can get their application fees back.
Relax check B or A in your case it makes little to no difference.
