I am inviting my mom on a visit visa to Canada. My question is how does the duration of Canadian visit start.
From the date of issue? or
From the date of entry in Canada?
She actually wants to visit her daughter in UK before coming to Canada and she will get her visa in India before leaving the country. Will the time she spends in UK effect her duration of stay in Canada ?

The duration of her visit to Canada does not start until she enters Canada.
