| Subject: transfer within compay while on work permit? |

Hi experts,
I am in BC Canada on work-permit since about a year working for a multinational. My company is undergoing some re-organization and they are planning to transfer me to another role (similar to one I am doing at present but with different job title) at another location (could be Alberta / Ontario / anywhere else in Canada). All this is happening while my work permit extension is under process (LMO renewal received).
Is it ok to transfer to a new role with work permit approval for old (but similar) role?
Do we need to do LMO and work permit all over again?
Will the transfer affect my chances for filing for PNP / PR?
These questions are causing some sleepless nights and any advise will be appreciated.

Your work permit states which company you can work for so unless the name of the company changes it is highly unlikely you will have an issue.
All depends on what is actually written on your WP.
