Hi All,
I am an International Student here in Canada and my current Student Visa will expire in the next few months, I am in the process of starting another academic program and the need for me to extend my study permit in Canada. I have completed paying the fees for my current program and I will be able to get a letter from the school to that effect.
I have a bank account that I have run for about 9 mths, I will like to know the minimum balance I should have in my account to guaranty my extension because I cannot afford to be denied this extension. My proposed new 18mths program will cost me $7,500 per annum. Also, can I include my asset in my home country as part of my evidence of funds.
I need your advice.

(in reply to: Study Permit - Funds) i renew few times, they were all sucessful. so keep the bank balance about 10,000 C$. Iyt would help. you only need to go to the bank to get a bank banlance certificate. that is it. no need to send bank staement. well if you have bank staetment show you have 10,000 it is fine too. :)
