Subject: (Japan) Request for Overseas Police Certificate |

Hi All,
The Manila office has just recieved our common law application. They have requested police certificates from New Zealand. They included a "Consent to disclosure of information" form.
Does anybody know if there are any fees we have to send along with this to New Zealand? It doesn´t appear so but I would imagine they would at least want postage etc.
Thanks in advance!

(in reply to: (Japan) Request for Overseas Police Certificate) Eric
According to the country specific forms www.cic.gc.ca to obtain a police certificate from Japan it says this.
"You and all your family members aged 18 and over, whether they are accompanying you to Canada or not, who have resided in Japan for six months or more, should contact the nearest
Japanese Embassy/Consulate to obtain police certificates from that country".
If there is a fee they will gladly inform you of their procedures.

I have contacted the New Zealand police and they have told me to fax the form to them and they will forward the information on to Manila.
Thanks again!
