When will my PPR come?

Subject: When will my PPR come?

We submitted our medicals for the second time in Nov´07. The ones submitted previous year expired because we couldn;t land in time(my work, spouse´s study issues, etc). Now we seem to be endlessly waiting for Passport request from Buffalo. When will this come? any idea? Is this sent just 6 months prior to medicals expiry, so should expect in May this year?
