Subject: H&C Requirement IMM 1283
I would like to let everybody know that IMM 1283 is the requirement if you apply for PR on H&C grounds. If you have a sponsor you have to include IMM 1283. I confirmed it with officials at Aleberta. Roy previously replied on my posts and said that he has never seen CIC asking for IMM 1283 for H&C applications. Which, unfortuantely is not true. In H&C applications, if you have a sponsor you have to submitt IMM 1283, otherwise they will ask for it and it will cause an un-necassry waste of time in processing.
Thanks, this is for your information purposes only!

What Vegreville says and what is on the application are two totally different things.

This is what the guide says and there is no where on the forms that it shows up.

No where on there is a IMM 1283 form but...... when you go to the guide there is a blue link to the IMM 1283 form and sometimes Vegreville asks for it qand sometimes they do not.

No Roy, i shall tell you where IMM 1283 is. It is mentioned on the document checklist of the sponsor. You have to submit 2 documents checklist. One is for applicant and the other one is for sponsor. And document checklist for the sponsor clearly states IMM 1283 a definite requirement. What you say?

If it is such a "definite" requirement Mikey why does CIC not include it in their list of forms under H&C applications?

Do you really believe that in 30 days they will approve your H&C since it is non-spousal?

Odds are it will be transferred to the local office.

This is no different then the cop that would give someone a ticket for doing 10k over the limit when the speed limit is 100K

Technically your correct but..... rarely do they ask for it because the average processing time in most centres is two til three years or longer. Then they would have to ask for it again and the amounts should of all changed regarding the sponsors income. Normally they just transfer the file to the local office and get rid of the work.
