Subject: Landing Fees
  Hello guys,
I have done the medical more than one month ago and confirmed with the doctor that everything was sent to Ottawa. I have not recevied any notice yet which is expected.
My question here is:
If I send the landing fees will it help to get the process faster?
even before they ask me to do?
Thanks a lot

Not at all. Just be patient or find a job in Canada.

finding a job in Canada has nothing to do with it. not sure who our friend is but they are making some pretty flipant posts around here that don?t make a lot of sense.

you are at the point where they wait for security clearances. If they have asked you for landing fees - send them. that will insure there is no wait due to mail delvery. If they have not requested them... wait until asked.

The idea here is nothing will speed things up, but not responding promptly when instructed could result in delays.

does that make sense?

Thanks guys for your replies.
Tatiana: I am here in Toronto and doing my PhD at U of T.
Sharon: they have asked me to submit fnmgerprints about 3 month ago (about 5 weeks before requisting the medical). So, do you still think that they are waiting for security clearances?
Thanks again
