Subject: PR Visa Received. Land or not land? |

Hi All,
After 2.5 years i finally got my PR visa last month and it will expire in Aug 08.
Question: I plan to goto canada for a 10-day visit in mid-march, must i land by then or i can claim to be a visitor only and land when i´m ready; say july 08, before the expiry date?
Please help.
Thanks,
Martin

(in reply to: PR Visa Received. Land or not land?) It will implicate the situiation to be in visitor visa while you have PR.

(in reply to: PR Visa Received. Land or not land?) you will be expected to land. there is nothing stopping you from leaving again after 10 days.

(in reply to: PR Visa Received. Land or not land?) yes it has nothing wrong. But I´d rather land in july because if that´s the case, i´ll have 4 more spare months.

(in reply to: PR Visa Received. Land or not land?) 4 more spare months to do what?
you can leave after landing and go back home to wind things up - people do it all the time.

(in reply to: PR Visa Received. Land or not land?) i see what you mean but i have my reason for that though.
anyway, another question please. say i land and finish my 3 years stay, can i go back to my home country right away and return in couple years later?
