| Subject: Change of addr from US to Canada - speed up PR? |

Hi
I´ve recently applied for PR in the skilled worker category to Buffalo processing center and got the AOR. Meanwhile my wife got a job offer in Canada and moved to Canada on Work Permit. After a month I followed her from US to Canada on a open work permit.
Will the change of address from US to Canada speed up the PR processing? Will my file be transferred from Buffalo to Canada for further processing. Any insight into this is much appreciated.

Skilled worker PR applications are all processed outside of Canada. Changing your address is not going to speed up the processing. If your file was being processed at some other visa post then it would have been processed faster with an arranger employment offer.
