| Subject: marriage, border crossing, spousal app. within CA. |

i know this question, or ones similar, have been addressed in the forum before (and even recently)... but over the holidays, with lots of friends and family being around, i´ve heard lots of stories (it´s amazing how many people i know personally who have either gone through the process, know someone who has... or are thinking about it)... and i´d kind of just like to have my mind set at ease...
again. hah.
i´m an american, marrying a canadian in a week and a half (hurrah!)... in vegas. it´ll be a small ceremony, only one of two friends will be able to attend... neither of our parents will be able to because of expenses, and the fact that it´s so near the holidays... and my fiancee and i want to keep it simple, anyhow. we´ll be coming down to see my family and friends that same weekend, for a very small reception... more of a dinner, really... at home... and then will be flying to canada (ottawa, by way of toronto) where we´ll be applying for my permanent residence.
we´ll also have another dinner with my fiancee´s friends while there... and will have pictures from this lot to submit with our application. as well as our marriage certificate (when we recieve it in the mail)... and phone bills, cards, letters... emails... the normal stuff.
does this seem enough ´evidence´ of our four year relationship? over the years, mostly because i´ve moved quite frequently, we´ve lost most of our boarding passes (though i think we´ve found two)... and i was a little worried about that, but assumed, in the end, that they´d have some sort of record of my visitation to canada... and that would suffice, as the only reason i´ve ever gone was to see my fiancee.
now, the main question i have is...
will i encounter problems when i fly into toronto on the 10th? i´ll be telling them of our intention to apply for my PR from within canada... we will have the marriage certificate that we´re issued at the wedding (although not the official one, we´re having that sent to us at home in ottawa)... and proof that i´ve had my finger prints done (reciepts for that and for the money orders used for my fbi and police certificates)... and my fiancee will have his notice of assessment with him.
i´ve heard horror stories... and worry that for one reason or another they may not let me in. i don´t see any just reason for that *L* but you never know.
anyway, any reassurance would be greatly appreciated. any help at all is welcome.
