Subject: where should we marry?
My partner and I are planning to be married and live in Canada, where I have been a citizen for 41 years. He was born and lives in England. I´m wondering where is the best place for us to marry..England or Canada? From an immigration perspective, is there an advantage to one more than the other?

And should he apply to immigrate before we get married, or after? I suppose to apply as a spouse we´d need to be married first?

thanks...

where you marry does not matter. You cannot sponsor him unless you have been living common law for 1 year or are married. there is no fiance class.
