Subject: Moving to USA from Canada I'm US Citizen
I´m a US Citizen and so are my children, but we live in Canada. My daughter is moving to Florida. What can she bring accross the border on her way there? Do we need to file with immigration? Does she have to claim all her belongings? What about her car?

Please reply.

If she has US passport then no question about the immigtration.

They don´t care about personal stuffs.

About car, if she doesn´t declare that at the border then she can´t drive it into the US for more than 1 year. (Assuming it is made in Canada).

If want to import, then has to have a certificate from the manufacturer (Car dealer should give it) that it complies with the US EPA.

Without this import certificate she can´t register it in US.

You may see the US customs official website about the details.
