Subject: I can not apply as a spouse although we 're marrie
  Hello
I got married my Canadian wife mor than two Yrs ago but at that time I had another marriage from my first wife, I could not divorce my first wife although we are separated because the procedure required to make divorce valid takes longer.

I succeded to divorce my first wife legally two years ago.
now we are living together more than two years, My wife is going to apply as a spouse, Is she quailfied as sponsor because I had my first marriage at the time of getting marry her?
Should we apply as spouse because we have marriage certificate or as a common-law partner?
Is she required to meet financial requirements or not because we are married legally?
Thank You
Gen

Note :By the way, In my country it is legal to have more than one wife at the same time

How can I apply as a spouse and there is a condition in the application saying you can not be sponsored as a spouse if you have had marriage at the time of your marriage.
Please I need a expert reply
