Subject: Visiting Visa for my Parents(mom)
  Hello Friends,

Need your advise on getting a visiting visa to Canada from India this is for my parents. I am a PR holder moved to Canada in 2007 march. started working from 2007 APR with 34K its almost a year. I had applied visiting visa for my In-laws in the month of 2007 AUG it has been rejected refused) by Canadian immigration officer in DEL for 3 time, yes we had applied for 3 times,
1st reasons was as a sponsor not having enough funds, but I had showed 16K on by bank finically letter,
2nd reason was what is the guarantee that my in-law will return back home. My in-laws had showed family ties back home and property.

Now I am applying for my mom only and I am showing the same funds from my side as of know and inviting to so see my new born son he is 6month old. Please advise me based on my income and funds available and my stay in Canada is less then a 2yrs. also I have recent taxes assessment for this year.
Many thanks in advance for the replies.
I appreciate your time.

Praveen

An invitation based on the reason you mentioned is a 99.9% rejection, i can say with full confidence. Why do you come up illogical reasons, you invited your in-laws, applied 3 times, got rejected theree times and now you want another rejection for your mum. My friend, summer is comming, ask your mum to visit you and spend this beautiful summer along with you and family Show her niagara, and other amazing places, Canada is a beautiful country. In addition to that, you can alawys mention that by visiting you, she will be able to meet your 6 months old son as well. This would be a spice to your normal application. However, visiting to see your 6 months old only would not work. And do not keep applying the visa, when it is rejected, try to figure out the reason an d in next application rectify the sitaution and provide a proof to satisfy visa officer. You must submitt every thing with your application so that they do not find a reason to say no. A valid reason, nicely filled up forms, inviatation letter, Statutory Declaration, bank statement, family history, ties to home country, and any thing else to prove that she will go back and her visit is a normal visit to see the beauty of Canada, stay with family for a while, see/meet new born baby and then go home. Show some property, some close realtion in back home, if your dada is alive and only your mother is applying for visa then visa officer wont be worried much about ties. Good Luck!

You can apply for your mom. However, make sure that you submitt a very strong application. State a very valid reason for her visit, write an invitation letter, and a statutory declaration stating that she will not become a burden on Canadian system during her stay in Canada and she will maintain her non-immigrant status and will leave the country after the expiration of he rlegal stay. Get it notarized by some lawyer, they will charge you between 25-40 dollars. Attach your paystubs instead of bank statments, because bank ststments does not prove your employment status. If you have good money in the bank, attach a bank statement in addition to pay stubs. Provide family history of your mother showing her ties in your home country and any other document proving her attachement to the home country like proprty, car, job (if any) and other affiliations. I hope this will work.

Visitor's visa, on work permit (in reply to: Visiting Visa for my Parents(mom))
Hi Friends,
This might sound repitative but I have some doubts about my case.

I just moved to Canada on a work permit (valid for one year) from USA. I hold an H1B visa in USA (valid for three years). Since I am getting paid in USA, I cannot show my Canadian bank account details (as of now). Would an American bank account details be good as a proof of sufficient funds to support my parents?

Also, both of them just got retired from service and are in their late 50s. Do they have good chance of getting a 3-month visitor´s visa?

Thanks,
Sanchit

Tina's question (in reply to: Visiting Visa for my Parents(mom))
Hey Tina,
make sure you put all the documents that you have including your current pay stub and the old statements together and wite an invitation letter for you mom suggesting that you need help in the interim untill your husband has joined you in this new country.
Make sure your dad and mom put all the assets into a conjoined portfolio and submit it as proof of ties to the native country. there shouldn´t be any problems. Do you have anyother close friends/family/distatnt relative here that can support your documents, if you dohave them write out a letter on your behalf as well. hopefully this should work! and if your mom already has the Visa then Bravo!! best of luck!
