Hello,
I´m planning to extend my mother´s visitor for SIX MORE MONTH which is set expire on May 29, 2008. Does this six month extension mean extension from May 29, 2008 or the extension from the date they receive the application for extension? Can someone clarify this please...

Extension from May 29, 2008. Apply atleast 30 - 45 days before the expiration.

The extension of visa will take at list 8 to 10 weeks so by that time your moms visa will be close to expire she has to do medical check as well.

When they give you an extension, they send you information about medical exam as well that you have to do within 90 days. Medical exam is not an issue at this point.
