Subject: illegal person getting married?
I?m living Illegally in Canada for 10 years and I was deported before( no criminal record). All this years I do construction renovation work.
I?m thinking to get married and she( Canadian citizen) is willing to sponsored me, but I I?m scared I can get deported second time. I don?t know what to do. I don?t want to break hers heart and make her crying every night when I?ll gone .
Does anyone know something about people with the same situation like mine?
Do I have a good chance if I?ll get married? How long it will take to get PR papers and should I leave Canada and wait outside?
Please people share your opinion

The issue is why were you removed before?

Were you excluded or deported and for what?

Either way (inside or outside of Canada) you have a chance if you love and care about your partner. If your supporting your partner while working without authorization and can prove same all should be fine. The issue is proving your relationship.

If you submit outside of Canada you will have to pay an additional $400.00 CA to get authorization to return but the process will be quicker and an appeal would be allowed.

illegal person getting married? (in reply to: illegal person getting married?)
i was deported because i didn´t leave voluntary after my refugee claim refused, so they did put me on the plane back home, 4 month later i took the same road to Canada(illegally of coarse) in some cases they are just wasting taxpayer money by sending good hard working people out.
Thanks Roy

True to a point.

We need certain type of workers. Look your from Europe and made a refugee claim??? Eastern Europe?

Either way you need to prove the relationship really well due to your previous behavior that is wrong and you should know that.

babies prove NOTHING. I hear about more woman having babies alone while hubby sits in his home country waiting for CIC to decide if the relationship is real.

Babies deserve to be brought into the world for the right reason - this is not one of them.

looks like you keep looking for the easy solution. how about following the rules instead.

Why do you care if you are legal or not? You can simply marry her and continue your life. Later on you can file for amnesty or whatever. If you marry her in church and have pictures and videos of wedding and you live with her for some years sharing rents and other bills (you can even buy house if ya got enough money) everything should fall into place by itself. You would need an attorney for all the headaches. There was an Indian guy who was illegal in Ontario for a decade or more and while the CIC went through motions to evict him, he flipped real estate and made over a million dollars. Eventually CIC through him out, and he took his Canadian wife and built nice stone and concrete house in India and they live there now. Much better than the icy Ontario.

It will be a dumbest idea to buy a house In my situation , and money I make I?m sending back home to my parents.
I do agree with Sharon said .
Not every person can follow the rules and what they are asking from you, they are accepting certain number of immigrant every year , so some people have no choice like to break the rules and make a living. as long you don?t hurt nobody, God always will help you .
Thanks guys for yours opinion .

George, I am sorry but you make me furious. You want to marry a Canadian but you intend to send money home to your parents, but you are also thinking about getting your girlfriend pregnant to solidify your immigration status.

then you justify your behaviour with ´as long as you don´t hurt anybody´

is your Canadian girlfriend reading this crap of yours?

Sharon is George a real person with a real problem? Asking a genuine question? Maybe & Maybe Not!

Elvii sure sounds like someone else. Same 3rd world issue.

A relationship has to be built on respect and when Georg´s Canadian Girlfriend wake up and reads some of his comments even if she has sponsored him I would expect her to pull out of the sponsorship agreement.

Bye George

Just in case some of you losers are wondering who that Indian was: he is the same guy who bought pizza and organized parties for the previous Immigration Minister; after the minister was thrown out of office, CIC hastened his deportation and now they live in India. I saw the pictures of his house and it turns out nobody in India gave a damn to his presence, even though he cried wolf when pursuing his refugee status in Canada. Opportunists abound.
