Does anyone know if its a good idea to transfer a file from one office to another. I already have received my interview date but want to tranfer my file to another location. I live in US and just want to transfer the file from one location to another.

So you have waited how long?
Now Seattle has NOT approved your application without an interview hmmmmm. Now you want to transfer your application after they have called you for an interview to Detroit instead of Seattle.
WHY NOT, your the most important person applying to immigrate and there is nothing missing from your application that is why they called you for an interview, correct.
Hey you will be able to save the travel time, and time is money. You will probably save eighty dollars on travel expenses too. You will be able to stay at Uncle Luigii´s house so no accommodation expenses.
DO YOU REALLY THINK THAT OTHERS WHO HAVE WAITED FAR LONGER THEN YOU WANT TO READ YOUR ATTITUDE?
CIC has nothing to do but to transfer your file from one American city to another American city, cancel your interview slot, put someone else in your interview slot, then have the new CIC office in another American city schedule another Interview for you (just you), then have you ask again to switch your interiew to a third city?
Well do you think it is a good idea?
