| Subject: Waiting for Medicals call for over a year |

Hi,
I was given an interview waive in September 2006 and afterwards submitted all necessary documents and paid all necessary fees (landing fees etc) by December of 2006. All this was done through my agent who has being handling my case since the filing in April 2002.
I was told by the agent to expect a call for medicals in a couple of months. However, up till now (over a year after) the call for medicals is yet to come.
Is there anyway I could find out what is happening? Would appreciate any assistance on how to handle this.

S[peak to your agent and get his advice. Your interview is waived and they probably would be doing your background check. If you have a paid representative then you must rely on his information and follow his advice and shre with us so that we can comment on that and give your feedback.

Thanks Mike,
According to them one applicant in my set who responded within one week to all the requested documents and fees has gone through all the process and has already migrated to Canada by middle of 2007.
My agent says the delay is from the Embassy. Thats all the information I have from them.
Is there anything specific I should ask them?

You can try ordering CAIPS notes to see whats causing the delay.
