i just have one question plz...if anyone can answer me plz.......last year i applied for B2 U.S visa but got refused and in that application i didnt mention that i have done MBA and now i am applying for student visa and have mentioned about my education so im so worried because if the visa officer checks my previous application then it doesnt match. even i mentioned in last application for B2 that i never been to U.S but now im mentioning everything true that once i was in U.S.......is it gonna effect on my case ? will they see previous application on which they have refused or they will only consider my new application for F1 visa >

There was no reason to misrepresent yourself. Your B2 was denied because you told them lies and you told them that you have never been to US. Do you think people at US Embassy are Fools and they dont have records. I do not know what convinced you to repeatedly lie with them but one thing i can tell for sure is that you will not get any kind of visa anymore because you have repeatedly misrepresented yourself and they have all the records and they do refer to your previous applications. So Good Luck!

My question to you is why did you hide the information?
I think they will check your previous record on visa application and they might find out the discrepencies in your record. I dont know about MBA but I am confident that they would know that you have visited USA before. They might have noticed that during your first application as well and that could be the cause of refusal.. Just a guess!

Remember be truthful and honest whatever you do :)

Sadly what Mike told are all true.

For the past many years all US consulates keep digitized copies of all applications and check when applicants apply in the future. That´s why they take some time prior to the interview to check background...

Any rejection seal is big negative for the future. I don´t know why you lied first time. You visited US once and returned, that was a huge plus and you blew that in the reverse way.

Educational degree wasn´t a big deal but hiding the previous visit was fatal.

I can only pray for you.

I don´t see anything wrong in admitting the guilt, it won´t do anything more harm if not helps.

Donot start bringing the topic unless not asked.
