Hi,
I am a student and graduated my Bachelor degree in IT this February 2008. First job at the moment and working in Stuttgart, Germany.
Is it possible to come to Canada on a temporary work permit and apply within Canada after 6 months for PNP? Was also on a work permit during my studies for an internship, got a SIN and paid taxes!
Would that work to get PR in 1 year and do I have to extend work permit until I get pr?
Is that a good tactic or what else would you recommend if I don´t want to go through the skilled worker visa process which takes 2-3 years in Berlin, Germany?

They have a new program coming out this summer/fall called the CEC class or Canadian Experience Class for those educated in Canada or on an employer specific work permit.
That means instead of submitting in your home country or Buffalo RPC your application will be processed in Canada.
Most PNP require an offer of full time employment and some provinces require the employer to sponsor you. Some are based on arranged employment and convincing the PNP people you will and want to live in that province.
