Subject: PRRA what happens at the first PRRA interview
I will like to know what happens at the first PRRA interview since i don´t have a lawyer and what document i should sign and should not sign. Can the removal officer stop my removal if i have proof of compassion. HOw long after the PRRA does it takes to get deported.

The CBSA officer reviews your case by telling you when you arrived, when/if you claimed refugee status, what happened, if there was an application for leave to appeal, the results. If there has been a Humanitarian and Compassionate application submitted and when plus results if any.

The officer will then ask about your health and issues before the courts. If there is no MAJOR health issues and no criminal matters before the courts your removal ready.

The officer will then give you the PRRA forms and tell you that from the date of your interview you have fifteen days to complete them. That they have to be received before the fifteen days expire and after that you would have an additional fifteen days for sny submissions on NEW evidence as to your risk to life since being ordered removed. Or from a conditional order becoming effective.

Humanitarian and Compassionate applications submitted with no stage one approval will not delay or prevent your removal.

Go pick up the forms then you have fifteen days (approx) to decide if you wish to submit a pre removal risk assessment. The forms MUST be received within fifteen days.

Then you have another fifteen days to decide what submissions you are going to submit as NEW evidence as to why you face a risk to life if returned based on the reason or change in circumstances as to why they ordered you removed.
