Subject: Passport
  hello

I´m in final stage of process for getting my PR, hoping visa it will be issue soon,my question is cause my passport will expire feb/2009 and if they stamp the visa in that passport and I get new passport feb/2009 would I be able to live Canada having the new passport and having the old one that is expired but where is a visa stamped.

I guess you can transfer the visa to new one.

Shortly after arriving you will be given a card that will allow any airline to let you on board for entry requirements called a PR card.

YOUR PR VISA IS ONLY FOR LANDING INTO CANADA AND ATHATS IT. After that as Roy said you will get PR card and your immigrant visa will no longer be valid. You can get a new passport and move in and out of Canada using your PR card not the immigrant visa. Just land in canada before the visa expires.

Hi,

Experts like Roy,Raj,Mike...

After applying in 2002 in skilled catagory in New Delhi, I have just received papers for medicals, what are the next stages that I have to pass thru before I can land in Canada
and what may be the time frame and what are the chances of rejection now on.
