Yes it is a site that has Immigration Expert advertises on it along with many other actual authorized representatives. I will not comment about the company "Immigration Expert"!
When one asks a question here, any company that wants to pay for hit after hit of their web site advertisement can be found here. Web sites that are informative are good web sites but for the most part www.cic.gc.ca that has just been updated is a site where most information is found and can be substantiated.
The difference in any web site information is the icing on top of the Cake. It is the cumulative knowledge of those little tiny some times appearing to be insignificant details that make the difference on your file.
The problems that arise is representatives have to decide how detailed information to post on their sites and what to leave out. Lets face facts providing Immigration advice is a business. Even CIC tells all, you do not need a representative to assist you with any application! It all depends on your ability and time to read the complete IRPA, IRPR the Manuals and to fully understand everything.
If we take CIC thinking to the extreme then no one needs a Plumber, Carpenter, Bricklayer, Electrician etc. to build a house they can do it themselves.
I´m not sorry to say it but I feed my family by clients who have messed up their spousal sponsorships and then turn to me to represent them at their Spousal Appeals. trying to keep the marriage together during this period is work enough.
When you have a twenty year old son who has gotten into a little trouble with the Law and you do not understand the definition of a "DEPENDENT CHILD" you could be found inadmissible because you filled in the forms incorrectly regarding his history.
ONE SHOULD ALWAYS REMEMBER TO BE CAREFUL WHEN VIEWING A TERRIFIC LOOKING SITE. SUBSTANCE, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE AND REFERENCES IS WHAT COUNTS NOT A PRETTY SITE.
This site makes money from those advertising their sites on this persons site so are you the host trying to bring more traffic to this site, True Canadian?
Always ask for references and seek out information as to how many cases any representative have dealt with that had a similar problem as yours. Read carefully what they say about their credentials on their web site. Understand that huge Law Firms will assign the work to others less experienced then the head of the Law Firm who is nothing much more then a name to attract business.
When I get more time I will finish improving my site to focus more on the business that I actually conduct. Hopefully it will be very informative. The site is LONG overdue for an upgrade.
