my fiancee is canadian and i am a us citizen, we´ve been together for 8 years, my goal is to move to ontario get married and start our lives together. i;m looking for structured & defined information on who can be a sponsor, ie her or maybe her father (i have a feeling that she may not be able to meet the guidelione monetarily due to the circumstances of her work). there is also a company whom i used to work for that has expanded to the GTA who have new job openings weekly, and i was curious how long a work visa takes to porcess if the first option was not looking promising. I want to get the ball rolling asap. any information would be greatly appreciated -KBCarpe

(in reply to: looking for info on the mariage and/or work visa) First of all, get married with your fiancee.
Since, you fiancee is canadian, she can apply inside or outside Canada.
Job or income does not matter for spousal sponsorship.
More information in The Sponsor?s Guide for Family Class:
Outside Canada:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/fc.asp
Inside Canada:

Good luck
