Subject: immigrant student in US wants to move to Canada
  Hi:
I am studying engineering in an U.S university. I do not have green card and I pay taxes.Last year I met an U.S citizen and now we want to move to Canada. She wanted to give me the "papers", but I should go back to my country and wait there for 2 or more years which I don´t want it to do.
Is there any way to move us from U.S.A to Canada? we, both, are almost engineers, should I apply for skill worker visa?.Thank you very much for your comments.

yes you should apply under skilled worker, however you can not do it until you actually graduate and have worked for at least one year (note that in intership does count) at the time of the application mention your friend as a common law partner you both should have enough points to qualify. good luck
