Finally the D-day is approaching we will be landing in Calgary on April 23rd. Then new life will begin ...
I plan to keep regular updates for information for future immigrants. Hopefully I will stick to the plan.
A happy near-future landed-immigrant.

Wait till you land, find housing, job and then let us talk... Calgary is doing ok so you maybe alright. I seen many immigrants in Toronto languishing in shelters and dregs... and whining about no jobs. But then I also saw many street people and prostitutes in Toronto so no big deal... If you can hold your excitement after you land, you would be lucky. Let us hope it holds.
