Subject: Applying US Visa After Landing
I understand that many people here simply "crossed the bridge" to the US side and then came back to the Canadian side to finish their landing process.

But will this cause any problem in the future if you want to apply a US visa after landing in Canada? Since you didn´t have a us visa when you crossed the bridge, remember the slip they gave you before your turn around? would this be considered as "refused to admission to US"?

Has anyone here tried to apply a US visa after their landing in this way?

No, you wouldn´t have any problem.

You can go to the US border and tell them that you need to re-enter into Canada for immigration landing purpose. Need not to have a visa. They´ll return you to Canada without any rejection seal in the passport.

Getting a US visa not easy if you are from some countries in their list; needs to show good ties with Canada, PR status, job, ..properties..
