Hello, I am sponsoring my husband from tunisia.
Can anyone tell me if they have sponsored anyone from this country before and how long after he received his letter from paris saying that the process is underway he has to wait normally.
Please offer any advice and words of encouragment.
I´m looking for people to share their experiences. I feel so alone in the who process and hearing from others would be so comforting.

Wait may be in years. If possible, have a tour of tunisia that will reduce the feeling of loneliness.

wait is NOT years. geesh. Once you are approved as sponsor, Paris advises that the wait is approximately 6-12 months.

The 6 month range is all about complexity of your relationship and whether he has lived in other countries etc.
