| Subject: How long will Buffalo office take to respond??? |

Hello,
I am almost on the last leg of this never-ending immigration process. Here are some of my dates to help you understand where I am coming from.
Initial Application sent - July 2004
Medical Examination Date - 17th Aug 2007
RPRF sent on - 10th Oct 2007
Final Police Clearance Certificate (received by Buffalo office) - 7th Apr 2008.
When do you think CIC, Buffalo might get back to me?
- I sent an email today and the reply I got was "Please be advised that your application is in process, however we are unable to provide an exact date when a final decision will be made."
Is it true that I´ll have to enter Canada to get my passport stamped within ONE year of my medical date, otherwise my medicals stand invalid?
What is the next step?
- Do I need to wait for them to advise me to send my passport to Buffalo office and then go to Canada (again all within one year of medical test date)?
As you can see, it´s been a long wait and it´s rather frustrating. Any help is much appreciated.

You are right about the medical validity issue. However, if your process is almost finished and your medicals are about to expire, CIC may increase the validity by few months.
