| Subject: Which is faster: Quebec or Federal process? |

Hi all,
I was looking for the answer for my question through this forum and official site, but I didn´d find it explicitely defined.
I´m staying in US with H-4 visa and I´d like to apply for Canadian PR.
Please, can anyone advise me - if I apply for PR via Quebec the process will be faster than that one via Federal?

Emilia,
I just received my PR confirmation and visa. I applied thru the Quebec process.
I started in January 2007, received the Certicate of Selection in July. I waited until November to send the PR application to Buffalo.
So I will say without any delay it might take you about 12 months. This is much shorter than applying thru the Federal.
But remember to be proactive. Once you apply, get every document ready before you receive the CSQ. Also make sure that you application is complete.

hi romuald? from which country are you? and i know that for single applicant you should have at least 2657 canadian dollars right (much much lower than for federal)? is that right? and where specifically did you include the bank certificates because when i read the instructions, its not included in the requirements? did you submit it upon submission of csq requirements?
