| Subject: six months after the medical submitted |

My medical has been delivered by London office on 7th of November 2007. It´s been six months and almost one week and I have received no answer yet. I have been told by a friend it usually takes up to six months, but might take little bit more. Is this true? Please advise how long it usually takes. I live in Dubai/United Arab Emirates.

Hi Naj...
I live in Abu Dhabi... my friend got her medicals done at the beginning of Feb... and she got passport request two weeks after!... I am not sure if they are taking longer in your cases due to more complicated background check... it´s possible...

I am wondering till when I should wait before I contact the CIC. The status of my application is still showing In Process. Another concern, the post service here really sucks, so is it possible the request was lost by post people?

Naj, I also submit my meds 3rd of November 2007 and I sent a inquiry to CIC London ( last week) and they said BG check is outstanding...so I guess it same to you. One thing I am sure, whatever C?C says but IF they would not get your MEDS. they would of contact you. I guess you r from PAK/INDIA?BG CHECK takes a time for those countries if you live outside of the country. BTW E-cash is same to me ..in process. and usually they answer within a WEEK..Good luck

please send Email to London office and ask them your question if you are in backgrond check they would let you know by Emil otherwise it maybe lost by post people ,again you can ask them your recent status .
