I´ve been in Ontario since August. My wife and I are sending in our IN-Canada Spouse Sponsorship application in soon. I know that once we send it in I ´m not supposed to leave Canada, but I am a performing artist and have booked shows in the U.S. Will I be able to leave Canada to Perform?

you can leave but there is a risk you won´t be allowed back it. why - because they think you won´t leave if they turn down your application.

BTW - do you have a residence anywhere outside of Canada - if so file an out of Canada application - much faster and there is an option to appeal if things go sideways.
