| Subject: PR applied from Canada....Landing?? |

Hi,
I am on a work permit in Toronto and have applied for a PR from Buffalo. I got my status changed on ecas to Medical reports received. I would like to know if I can do my landing from a CIC office in Toronto viz St Clair/Scarborough or do I have to go to the border in Niagara Falls to do it. Your answer in this regard will be highly appreciated.

If you had applied as an In-Land spousal or H&C application you would be landed from within but.....now you have to leave and re-enter only for a second but you have to exit and re-enter.

Hi,
I am in the same situation as Salil.
I am in Toronto.
Do I have to get a US Visa to go across and come back into Canada? Or can I just go to the customs office and turn around.
Also, I did my medicals on Sep 3 2008 and my medicals were rec´d by Ottawa on Sep 19 (according to UPS). And my interview was also waived in Aug.
How much longer do you think it will be before I hear from Buffalo re: papers to land in Canada.
