Subject: More fun with China's "no record" letter
  Me again!

I posted below as to what´s going on with this. China´s consulate said they can´t help me. So now I´m trying to find an immigration lawyer who could, but so far I can´t find any that will help me because the process is already started.

Can anyone recommend a lawyer I could retain even though the process is started already?

Thanks!

Well, this is very strange that the country like china can not assist you getting Police Clearnce. This is disgusting. May be because of the language problem they could not understand what you want from them.....LOL....I do not thin an immigration lawyer can be of any assistance in this regard because if you have spent more than 6 months in any other country you have to produce PolicE Clearance from that country. You can write the canadian embassy that you are in the process of getting this clearance from China and so far this is the response you have received from them but you are trying to figure out how quickly you can get this.

See if you can contact your embassy in china to get some assistance on this matter. Or try to contact the concerned ministry in china and address your issue. You have to quick.
