I am sponsering my son to come an live with me in canada, He was called in for an interview. I did not know they have to do Interviews for dependants. What are some of the question he maybe be asked.
He is 19 years old

Basically the questions would be related to verify the information you submitted about you and him as a family. They will verify if he is really your son or not. They would probably ask him to verify the addresses where he lived in all those years. But the theme would the verification of his realtion with you.

I had to do a DNA test to prove my relationship with him, I did mine here in Canada and he is waiting for is DNA test appointment in Jamaica, am surprised they instead ask him to come in for an interview.
Maybe they will call him back to do the DNA, hope they are not messing up lol

Thanks mike for answering that question for me, I spoke with my brother and they have included both the DNA and interview the same day which is great, they are moving fast after all this wait

They will be assessing if he is a full time student or not hence not a dependent!
You made a mistake somewhere! Did you put down he is working somewhere?

The child is 19 so it has nothing to do with being a full-time student or not.He is a dependent child.
