Subject: Applying for permanent resisdence |

I have a number of questions...Please help!!!
1) Under the category of children´s info, it says that I need proof of continuous full-time studies for my children, and it lists 3 things-complete school records, letters from school, and proof of full financial support by parents since reaching age 22... Does this mean I need to provide ALL 3 of these, or just one of them? If I do need all 3, what kind of proof can I provide for full financial support?
2) It says that I need police certificate for anywhere I lived more than 6months.. Does that include Canada as well?(I´ve lived in Canada for over 6 months..)
I would REALLY APPRECIATE any help!
Thank you!
Honey

(in reply to: Applying for permanent resisdence) Yes, it includes Canada if you have lived in Canada for more than 6 months.

Applying for permanent resisdence (in reply to: Applying for permanent resisdence) Hi,
Yes I think you have to provide all 3 data required. Proof of full financial support would be a letter from the bank declaring how much you have. On the application guidance found at the immigration website,http://www.cic.gc.ca/ it states the minimum amount of money you should have, depending on the number of dependents accompanying you and I think it also differs according to the category under which you are applying, skilled worker, business class...etc.
You do not provide the police certificate at the time you send in your application. Check the list of documents you need to send. Usually all supplementary data is sent later when requested during processing your application, usually 6 months or so before finalizing your file. But I am not sure if you have to get it from all countries you have been to. There should be information provided on the immigration website to get guidance on how to obtain police certificates from other countries if required.
Good luck
