Subject: Border question.
In an earlier post I had mentioned remarrying my ex-husband (married 7 years 5 months and divorced for 9 months) and that is happening this month. He is presently in the US and I am in Canada and we are marrying in Canada. When he comes up for the wedding what should or should not be mentioned at the border (BC border)? We have been putting together our paperwork for the last two months or so and will file our application in June. I guess what I´m asking is when the border agent asks what he is here for, does he mention he is getting married or would that cause a problem? Thanks for your help.

I should add we are filing outside and he is not moving up here until he has PR. I have a job I can do anywhere and will be visiting the US.

TELL THE TRUTH! IN FULL! Why don´t you try lying? Let the Officer figure out that your fiance (ex-husband)is lying and then see what happens! Are you two prepared to face that consequence? Just tell the truth if your doing nothing wrong.
Even if more checking is required n the part of the officer, if your doing nothing wrong then tell the truth. Have him prepare proof that he is not planning to live here illegally. Show proof of PR application, his job in the states, return ticket etc...
