| Subject: Still waiting for the file number |
Hi,
I submitted my application on Sept 28, 2004 in Manila. Until now, I have yet to receive the file number. Does anybody out there know how long is the processing time for applicants in Manila?
Is it time to make a follow up ?

it depends, some time it takes about 1 month, some time it takes much longer. so it is pretty much individual.
I sent my applications about 2 months ago, still nothing so far. i guess the best thing to do is to wait. i doubt the holiday really hold off some of the applications. best wishes.

hi dilbert. It will take around 10-16 weeks before your file number will be released. I also submitted my papers in Manila(via Immigration consultant based in MAKATI). I completed my papers(all requirements incl. IELTS)mid December 2003. My file number was released March 19, 2004. Until now, no word from them.
As what they are saying, let´s be patient. Goodluck for all of us.

it takes 3 months to get an AOR. My application was submitted April 2003, I got my file number June 2003...no word since then.
