If any of you have a PR application in family class (spousal sponsorship) currently processed in Damascus, please share your timeline. Mine so far:
March 16: Sponsorship approved
April 1: Damascus started processing

I am sponsoring my husband from Iran. The PR application in family class under spousal sponsorship being processed in Damascus, Syria.
My current time frame is:
April 29 - sponsorship approved and sent to damascus
May 13 - husband was given a file number for PR application
I recently called CIC and they told me thaat if your spouse is given a file number starting with "B", you could check the status on e-cas.

Hi
I am curious to know how do they give teh file number since I am sponsoring my wife and the application are sent to Damascus Aug 19th and Quebec sent CSQ to Damscus Sep 16th... We are still waiting for news from Damascus as for the interview
