Subject: Common in law - Deportation
  Hi,

This is the reality:

I came to canada in 2004 then I claimed refuge status,My refuge was rejected in 2005, at the end of 2005 i met my girlfriend, we decide to live together in january 2006 but I didn´t change my address until april of the same year, in january 2007 I recived from the border officer CBSA a letter to up date my file (deportation i think), at the same time we applied to common in law, the officer knew the aplication just enter in proccess and give us the time to the aplication continue until the interview. We had the interview in 2008, we delivered a big aplication with many photos, letters from friends, neighbor´s letters, medical insurance from my girlfriend, everything; but we can´t prouve 3 months only, we had in photos, letters, but nothing like a telephone bill...well i just began a work and they request me my inssurance number but this number was already expired 6 months ago, now I can´t work, Im waithing for a letter from someone CBSA again.
This is the context, now we don´t have money enought to live like a normal couple, psychologically we are devastated, until now we live togheter since 2006 and only cause of 3 months we have to separate each other for almost 1 year or 1 year an half, and all the planes as a couple, to form a familly they were thrown to the garbage, my girlfriend is in depression, always criying, she is not the same person a met in 2005, I don´t know what to do, we think that for only 3 months in an injustice, for the gouverment is easy to make leave someone, but behind all this is very hard to be the same person, my personal oppinion is where are the values of a law, where is the spirit of the law or to joint a family and where are the rights of my couple to live the rest of her live with someone, I´m very sad because all of this things happend only because of the responsability or decision of one immigration officer, I think our true relationship as a couple doesn´t have the right treatment and the sad history is that there are many people I met that they pay for all this, they lied with false prouves and now they are divorced.
Please give me your oppinion, your real oppinion...we need help, we need solutions...only solutions.
