Hello, I appreciate any feedback or experiance if someone has been through a similar process. I have invited a friend to visit Canada from HCMC (Saigon). I travel a lot and have benn blessed in my travels from their hospitality and try to return the kindness?
I have done the items listed on the website ( The regular requirements listed by CIC, Invitation letter, bank statement, Tax Return? My friend is young (mid 20´s) single and working admin in a multinational in HCMC with a several thousand in savings US. ( no property or other long term attachment to Vietnam).
There is no chance of her not returning to HCMC but the material i read on the web indicates a visitor visa is not so easy for young and single?
1)Does any one have similar experiance Vietnam to canada visitor visa not for family member and or advice
2)Is there anything further I can do to help the approval of her visitor visa ( Im a naturalised canadian citizen from Ireland)

Thanks for your reply but I am not interested in visiting Cuba (I´ve been). I invited a friend to visit Canada.. my home and information on that process is what i hoping for.

Noel,
Your letter of invitation it helps very little. Basically you are going to provide shelter and go for a ride somewhere while she is visiting, for CIC that means almost nothing.
She needs to probe that she has enough ties to her home country. Also she needs to convince the Visa officer that she has no intentions of staying in Canada and also convince the officer at the port of entry.
How well stablished is this person in her home country?
Own properties? bank account? stady job? any other assets?
Does she have enough money to support her self while visiting Canada?
All that is what is going to be considered by the Visa Officer before approving or denying a visitors visa.

I appreciate your feedback She does have a permanent job and letter from her employer, bank account, savings with enough to support a trip here.
