Dear friends.
I am Dartsman/Assitt. Architect from small town in India. I have 7 years of experince in my job and have completed 3 years diploma after complitation of grade 12th.
I have decided my apply for canadian immigration under Economic federal skilled class.
I have got all the forms from the website and will be applying independentily.
The only problem i have is regarding the work experience letter. I have been told by people that immigation department has a specific performa for this and we should write it according to that only.
I couldn´t find that performa anywhere so could any of you guys help me with it.
Does it exist? if so where can i find it or should i make it according to myself.
I will appreciate your help in this regard.

Hi Sanjeev
I don’t know if there is a specific format for the letter, but it should contain the important information that would allow a visa officer to determine if you have valid experience. The letter should mention the start and finish date of employment, whether the position was full time or part time, title of the position and duties performed.
For the duties performed, you may want to look at the NOC description and see if the duties you performed matched the one listed there. From your description, it seems that 2253 Drafting Technologists and Technicians probably fit your job (http://www5.hrsdc.gc.ca/NOC-CNP/app/checkversion.aspx?lc=e&level=6&noccode=2253&code=2). However, look at other NOC listings there for a job title that may fit your job better.
