can i buy a car from my friend whos in U.S but im in Canada.....do i have to pay extra something like taxes or not ? wat if he transport it to Canada..... ? thanxxxxxx for replyin

If you´re talking about a U.S. registered car:
You have to formally export the car from the U.S., import it to Canada, pay GST and provincial taxes, have the car modified to Canadian standards, get car insurance, have it inspected, then licence it.
Is it worth it?

Hi I and 3 more friends are in USA now but our visa is in process for extension.We are from Brazil and we would like to immigrate to Canada. It is possible we imigrate from USA to CANADA if we are from Brazil?

You must have legal status in the U.S for at least a year to apply from the U.S. Otherwise, you need to apply through the Canadian Embassy or Consulate in Brazil.
