my husband went Canada in 1989 for a week and a half on his return home is book was not stamped at the airport, now he wants to apply for a visitors visa, how can he prove that he left the country nineteen years ago?

(in reply to: my husband went Canada in 1989 for a week and...) he prove it , in sending a stamp of your home country when he came back, but he went there in 1989, thats a long time ago ,even if he over stayed , the territory interdiction of 2 years will be gone , so it doesn t realy make a diferance i think , but if he is working the same job since he came back , the work certificate will be anough , any how send your application and if the agent need more proof he will ask you to send the proper documents regarding what he did since 1989,your husband didn t over stay and there s no evidence that he overstayed that year , so he cain t be refused on this ground ,
