Subject: Help! Questions about sponsership and my situation
Hi, Im a Canadian citizen living in Germany with my girl friend (she is chinese but has her permanent residence here)

Were getting married soon and my question is will she beable to get over to Canada on a visitor visa for the sponsership time. Can they deny a vistor visa after were married? And if they can what can we do about it?

Any advice would be great thanks.

Well first question why did you list her country of origin? We don´t care. CIC only cares if she lived in China or Germany or any other country since the age of eighteen for more then six months she has to prove NO convictions in those countries.

The second you get married if you have her medical done and her proofs of no convictions submit your sponsorship to Mississauga CPC and wait being sure that you tell them when you intend to return to Canada and that would be when she is approved or a couple of days before.

You can bring her to Canada on the same plane with you.

RELAX all is easy IF you prove your relationship.

Income is not an issue regardless that your a student. You will need a ton of photos of the two of you laughing enjoying each others company. Make sure your friends are included in the photos and get some to write a one page letter to attest to the relationship being genuine.

Wish you luck.

Canada TRV and Family Class (in reply to: Help! Questions about sponsership and my situation)
I live in Canada(this is my country of origin) and my wife is Chinese. We got married in October 2007. We had a very elaborate traditional Chinese wedding with over 250 relatives, friends, colleagues etc. We applied for a visitor visa back in February and were flat out refused.

Immigration Canada may not care which country one is from however the restrictions and processing times greatly differs from country to country. China is one of the countries that is difficult to visit or immigrate to from. The reason for this is that for every authentic marriage there is maybe 10 fraudulent ones. The criminals that abuse this system ruin it for the rest of us. If I ever meet someone who married for convenience I will be sure to report him to the authorities.

My advice is go for Family Class immigration, be very thorough with your application and include any information that may support the authenticity of your relationship. The only way you can get a visitor visa for her is if she provides a large financial guarantee or has ties to china which would prevent her from staying in Canada.

are you living common law? 1 year? can you prove your relationship is genuine?

if you were married it might be easier. If she could come on her own merits it would definitely be easier.

If you were closer in age it would be easier.
