Subject: Pls. Help Roy & Sharon
Hi Roy & Sharon, pls. help me find an answer,My sister in the Philippines has been sponsored by a Canadian Family here in Canada under a Live-in Caregiver Program, they have a 12 year old son during the application was made and that was last April 2007 and Last March 2008 my sister passed the Speak Test and the Immigration in the Phils. send her medical forms and they told her that no need for her to go for personal interview as they satisfied with her speak test, they also send forms to be filled up by her employer,to make the story short my sister comply all the needed requirements and after a week my sister received a letter from CIC in Manila telling her that her application has been refused because the child is now 13 years old and not required a full time Live-in Caregiver, since he dont have any illness too,why they have to approved my sister and send a medical forms then after a while they´ll refuse her for that reason??Here in Canada a 15 year old can still approved to have a full time Live-in Care as i know a friend who got work permit taking care of a 15 year old boy.The HRDC approved the employer why in the Philippines they refuse them.My sister spend so much money for that application just to come here, spend all her time and effort to review for the speak test...Do you think we can go for an appeal with this matter? Is there any chance for her to be considered???thank you so much for any response

Yeah, but they know at the beginning the age of the kid, they shouldn´t have send her medical forms, she´s done with everything except the Visa, that´s so unfair...she has lots of hopes and dreams when she got the letter that she passed the interview, life in the Philippines is really hard that´s why when she got that medical forms she knows that she can go through..they even sell their small farm there to use for that application,i really feel bad and sorry for her,she even say hope they just denied her from the beginning so she doesn´t have to waste that much money, time and effort...thank you Roy for the response, hope i can do something for her.
