I filed my application in Buffalo. Receivedd my file number. As my 6yrs H1-B visa is going to compleat, I´m moving to India. My question is , do I need to change my address to India. Will i receive medical papers to India?. How do I take Finger prints from USA, when I ´m in India ???? what is the procedure?? Do I need to transfer my application to India?. Thanks

Well, well... you must have given at least 1.5 years to complete the process. If you did not apply at the right time, your intentions towrad immigration to Canada are probably frivolous. Getting a file number is the first stage. If you have at least 6 weeks more, you can quickly get an FBI fingerprint card and apply for FBI clearance before departure. I would suggest you re-apply for immigration to Canada from India. It may take more time or depending on your training and experience, it may take less time. Being in India, you may have a great chance to re-appreciate your homeland and who knows, you might suddenly see good prospects and great enthusiasm for living at home, in which case you can drop Canada and live there. Or you can hang ou tin India briefly and return to US for 6 more years (if you are not an old man).... TO ALL IN THE US: IF YOU WANT TO MOVE TO CANADA, GIVE AT LEAST 1.5 YEARS FOR YOUR APPLICATION TO COMPLETE.
