Hi,
I filed for immigration under the skilled worker category in December 2003 and got my AOR in February. I am presently working in Oman and i had filed my case from Oman at the CIC office in London. i am expecting my medicals. During Apri-May 2005, i will be going on holidays to my home country(India). Is there a chance for me to get my medicals during that time. if at all i recive my medicals during that time, is it okay if i do the medical in India and not in Oman! Advices are appreciated........

See,
You have two options:
1- To wait till you come back and do the medicals in Oman. The medical letter is vaild for four month. If your leave is over three month then move to option two,
2- Log to the CIC site and check the name and address of doctors in your city in India and just take the letter with you to there and ask them to do the tests and send the forms back to UK.
You have to have the letter sent by the CIC to you requesting the test with you.
It is not wise to ask them to send this letter to your address in India as you can not be sure of their timing and you leave timing.
